Matsebula, as reported, counts the Mhlanga among the true Swazi, says they accompanied Sobhuza I northwards and performed special services for the king. Maganeni Dlamini lists Mhlanga as a son of an early king Nkhosi and brother of Mavuso and Nhlabatsi. Recorded from the sources named on this entry; the wording here is Sibaya's own.
